Aloys J. Hall

Aloys J. Hall, 84, Marathon, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital, Weston. He was born November 27, 1930 in Marathon, son of the late Julius and Hatti (Jagodinski) Hall. On April 4, 1964, he married Anne K. Schoeder at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. She preceded him in death on April 13, 2001. Aloys worked as a maintenance technician for Liberty Homes in Dorchester until his retirement. Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed fishing, bird watching, reading, playing cards and cooking. He also loved listening to music, watching movies and was an avid ham radio operator. Aloys was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors include, five children, Larry Hall, Weston, Allen (Ann) Hall, Weston, Kathy (Todd) Orlikowski, Merrill, Cindy (Phil) Schumacher, Sioux Falls, SD and Ryan (fiancAC. Tanya Giese) Hall, Edgar; six grandchildren, Benjamin and Miranda Orlikowski, Alex and Brett Schumacher, Ryan II and Jonathon Hall; five siblings, Arlene Hannemann, Wausau, Gladys (Randall) Schuh, Wausau, Ralph (Angie) Hall, Evansville, Dianne (Bob) Fitzke, Wausau and Phyllis Blume, Marathon; one sister-in-law, Sue Piette, Myrtle Beach, SC; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, Anne, he was preceded in death by one brother, Harold. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Noon on Monday, April 6, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. Rev. Msgr. Joseph Diermeier will preside. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services all at the church. Private burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Community Care of Central Wisconsin, especially Jane and Lisa, the staff at Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital, Dr. Pablo Abrego and the staff at DaVita Dialysis Center, and the staff at Care Partners Assisted Living for the wonderful care and support given to Aloys.
