Alida C. Vondrasek

Alida C. Vondrasek 85, Wausau, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born July 16, 1927 in Mosinee, daughter of the late Gustav and Anna (Jirgl) Butzlaff. On June 30, 1945, she married Rudolph Vondrasek in Mosinee. He preceded her in death on December 5, 1988. Alida was a homemaker and among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, gardening and playing cards. Survivors include, three daughters, Nancy (Dennis) Pliskie, Wausau, Sally (Randal) Landwehr, Marathon and Cindy (Scott) VanProoyen, Birnamwood; seven grandchildren, Dennis Pliskie Jr., Michael Pliskie, Kimberly (Keith Vardon) Tallitsch, Kurtis (Mandy) Landwehr, Ryan (Kimberly) Landwehr, Alainna VanProoyen and Kayla VanProoyen; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Elmer (Beverly) Butzlaff, Oshkosh. Besides her parents and husband, Rudolph, she was preceded in death by five siblings, Gordon, Gilbert, Agnes, Doris and Garnet. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Chris Sansom will officiate. Entombment will be in the Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
