Alice K. Meyer

Alice K. Meyer 92, a former resident of the town of Rietbrock, died Monday November 19, 2001 at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau. She was born November 10, 1909 in the town of Rietbrock, daughter of the late Bernard and Anna (Bergman) Reuter. She married Irvin Meyer. He preceded her in death. Alice was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, flowers, embroidering and tatting. She was also a member of the Parish Council of Catholic Women at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. Survivors include a son, Ronald Meyer, Edgar, a daughter, Carol (Donald) Westphal, Edgar, two grandchildren, Sandra (Gary) Eckardt and Kristina (Keith) Boneske all of Athens and two great-grandchildren, Veronica Vikon, Medford and Deveney Eckardt, Athens. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Jacob Reuter and a sister, Mary Bradfish. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Weds. November 21, 2001 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens. Rev. Charles Hiebl will preside. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, Poniatowski. Friends may call on Weds. from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of arrangments.
