Alice L. Lambert 87, Wausau, died Thursday, May 4, 2006 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born May 31, 1918 in Tomahawk, daughter of the late Joseph A. and Laura K. Belliveau. On September 8, 1945, she married George Donald "Don" Lambert at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tomahawk. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2003. Among her many interests, she enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family and the residents and staff at Applegate Terrrace. Survivors include, two sons, Richard (Sandy) Lambert, Chetek and Jeffrey (Cheryl) Lambert, Wauwatosa; one daughter, Nancy (Ron) Rutta, Rothschild; eight grandchildren, Laura (Aaron) Hiler, Jason(Kelly) Lambert, Hannah, Sarah and Dan Lambert; Kristen (fiancAC. Quinn Elliott) Lambert, and Jennafer and Christofer Rutta; four great grandchildren, Joseph, James, Bryce and Morgan Lambert; one brother, Joseph (Norma) Belliveau, Tomahawk; one sister, Esther Oelhafen, Minneapolis, Minn.; and one sister-in-law, Georgia Hosking, North Carolina. Besides her parents and husband, Don, she was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Belliveau. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2006 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Allan L. Slowiak will preside. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Tomahawk. Friends may call Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue is in charge of arrangements.
