Alice Kroeplin

Alice Kroeplin 83, 1328 Torney Ave., Wausau, died Friday January 20, 2006, at her home, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born June 26, 1922, in the town of Texas, daughter of the late Lester and Martha Thompson. On June 29, 1940, she married Walter Kroeplin in Wausau. He preceded her in death May 30, 1986. Alice was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, shopping and watching TV. Survivors include eight children, Virginia (Richard) Grasse, Wayne (Rita) Kroeplin, Cheryl Millard, Arthur (Cindy) Kroeplin, all of Wausau, Ronald (Cindy) Kroeplin, New Hampshire, Louis Kroeplin, Robin (Patrick) West, Lori Hanson, all of Wausau, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, a half brother, Eugene (Leone) Peterson, Schofield, a half sister, Sandy (Ron) Schuster, Wausau. Besides her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by two daughters, Pat and Barbara, and three step children, Eileen Hesse, Rozella Gorectke and Donovan Kroeplin. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday January 27, 2006 at Christ Lutheran Church, Wausau. Burial will be in Mission Evangelical Church Cemetery, town of Texas.
