Alice R. Gabor

Alice R. Gabor, 90, formerly of Schofield, died Sunday January 8, 2017 at Cedar Creek Manor, Kronenwetter. She was born April 22, 1926 in the town of Franzen. Alice retired from Marathon Rubber Corporation following several years of employment. Among her favorite pastimes, Alice was passionate about gardening. She was a member of the Little Flower Council at St. Therese Catholic Church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court St. Rose. Survivors include her three children, Barbara (Al) Spindler, Rozellville, Thomas (Sandy) Gabor, Colorado Springs, Colo., Allan (Kelley) Gabor, Wausau, five grandchildren, Nathan (Mariko) Gabor, Nicole Gabor-James, Wendy Kudronowicz, Karry Kudronowicz and Tammy (Doug) Faries, great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry Gabor, one son, James Gabor, one brother, Ernest Suchon and one sister, Irene Witkowski. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday January 17, 2017 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Louis Britto will preside. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
