Alec B. Jones

Alec B. Jones 69, 415 N. 6th Ave., Wausau, died Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. Alec was a US Army Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Hitz, Wausau; one daughter, Sherri Hitz, Wausau; his mother, Martha Betts, Merrill and other family and friends. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2002 at Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau and again from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services at the church. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau were there will be full military graveside services conducted by the Mosinee VFW on Monday. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau assisted family with arrangements.
