Albin L. Brzezinski
88, Wausau, died Friday July 2, 2004 at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau.
He was born May 2, 1916 in the town of Alban, son of the late Joseph and Martha (Kedrowicz) Brzezinski. In July 26, 1941 he married Lydia Gruna in Galloway. She preceded him in death April 26, 1980.
Prior to his retirement, Albin had been employed at the former American Can Corp., Wausau.
Survivors include his children, Caroline Brzezinski, Wausau, Harry (Carol) Brzezinski, Grayson, Georgia, and their sons, Michael and John; LeRoy (Jane) Brzezinski, Green Bay, Marge Brzezinski, Wausau, one brother, Henry (Dorothy) Brzezinski, Wausau, one sister, Evelyn Barczynski, Milwaukee.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Barney Brzezinski, Mary Guzinski, Regina Wisniewski, Frank Brzezinski and Leo Brzezinski.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 6, 2004 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Joseph Gyim-Austin will preside. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Monday from 4 - 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m until 10:30 a.m. all at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. There will be a parish rosary Monday at 7 p.m. at the Sixth Street funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, especially, Lisa Klein, for the special care and concern extended to Albin during his time with them.
