Albert "Bud" Koppa

Albert A. "Bud" Koppa, 88, Wausau, died Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston. He was born October 18, 1915 in the town of Maine, son of the late Joseph and Mary (Etzler) Koppa. On May 11, 1963 he married Sheila Schott in Sioux Falls, S.D. She survives. Albert worked as a welder for Murray Machinery for over thirty years, retiring in 1980. Survivors include his wife Sheila Koppa, Wausau; two sons, Russell Koppa, Wausau, Gary Koppa, Port Orchard, Wash.; two step-sons, Timothy Adams, St. Germain, Jeffrey (Shelly) Adams, Wausau; one step-daughter, Jill Hulbert, Dallas, Tex.; 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one sister, Helen Heisler, Sanford, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and six brothers. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 17, 2004 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
