Albert R. Brzezinski, 93, Edgar, died Saturday October 6, 2001 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital.
He was born April 12, 1908, in the Town of Cassel, son of the late Anton and Anastasia (Feltzkowski) Brzezinski. On January 22, 1966, he married Anna Kraucyk in Rothschild. She survives.
Survivors besides his wife, Anna, include four daughters, Gayle (Wilfred) Hennes, Unity, Janice Kane, Cassville, Grace (Leon) Merkes, Sterling, Alaska, Karen (Robert) Loignon, Green Bay; a brother Steven (Loretta) Brzezinski, Tomahawk; three sisters, Ann Egnar, Stratford, Rose (Michael) Knetter, Edgar, Delphina (Edwin) Nowak, Hewitt; 29 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Dr. Thomas Brzezinski, two infant daughters Alice Mary and Patricia Ann; a grandson Joseph; and brothers, Mike, John, Adam, Tony, Ed; sisters Martha, Balbena and Regina.
Albert was the owner and operator of Brzezinski Tie and Lumber Company for many years. He was a saw filer, maker of wooden toy cars, enjoyed baseball and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 9, 2001, at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. The Rev. Bernard Raschke will preside. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery, Edgar. Friends may call Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar. There will be a Parish Vigil service 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to St. John Catholic Church Building Fund.
