Adeline A Nowak

Adeline A. Nowak, 92, died Monday, January 27, 2014 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born July 7, 1921 in Wausau, daughter of the late Joseph and Sadonia (Kinski) Nowak. Adeline worked at Marathon Press for 29 years and also at American Legion Golf Course as a waitress. She was a member of the Rosary Confraternity at St. Michael Parish and enjoyed crafts and gardening. Survivors include her sister, Dorothy (Bernard) Orella, Virginia; sister-in-law, Betty Nowak, Wausau; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Bernard, Alfred and David, and sisters, Sister Paulette Nowak S.D.S., and Sister Mary Nowak S.D.S. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 12:30p.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 11:30a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
