Adeline Nielsen, 95, Wausau died Friday, May 23, 2014 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Wausau Manor.
She was born February 4, 1919 in Wausau, daughter of the late William and Wilhemina (Gollubske) Tesch. She married Carl Nielsen and he preceded her in death.
Adeline farmed in the town of Rib Mountain and also in the town of Rib Falls with her husband Carl. She enjoyed gardening and listening to music, especially Polkas.
Survivors include her children, Paul (special friend Jennifer) Nielsen, Weston, Phillip (Teresa) Nielsen, LaCrosse, Caroline (Tim) Hatlestad, Appleton, Mary Jane (Jim) Kaas, Appleton and Lisa (Matt) Van Haren, Marshfield, her grandchildren, Josh (Tanya) Nielsen, Ringle, Lindsay Nielsen, Schofield, Joel Nielsen, LaCrosse, Melissa (Matt) Sawyer, LaCrosse, Michelle (Jared) Purney, LaCrosse and Chelsey Kaas, Appleton, and Isabella, Schofield, 8 great grandchildren, Kiara, Matthew, Lauren, Phillip, Keaton, Waylon, Miles and Olive and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, Emil, Hilbert, Alfred, Albert, Louie, Louise, Adilla, Sylvia and Viola.
