Adeline E. Moser

Adeline E.Moser, 92, Marathon, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Cedar Creek Manor, Kronenwetter, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born May 16, 1920 in the town of Cassel, daughter of the late Walter and Frances Ahrens. On September 23, 1944, she married Joseph L. Moser at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Marathon. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2003. Adeline was a member of the Ladies Aide at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Marathon and a member of the former Washington Heights Homemakers Club. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed at Marathon Electric Corp., the Marathon Bowling Center and had also waitressed at Rib River Ballroom. Survivors include, two daughters, Erna "Charlie" (Rick) VandenBoomen, Kronenwetter and Norma Baneck, Marathon; three grandchildren, Ronald (Shirley) Huebsch, Wausau, Jennifer (Michael) Witz, Mosinee, and Shawn Baneck, Green Bay, three great grandchildren, Kelly, Samantha and Joey Huebsch, one sister, Dorothy Woller, Wausau and one brother, Henry Ahrens, Marathon, a sister-in-law, Arletta Ahrens, Kronenwetter. Besides her parents and husband, Joseph, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael Lee Huebsch, a sister, Laura Liebers and a brother, Ervin Ahrens. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Marathon. Rev. Jon Hadler will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon is in charge of arrangements.
