Adeline J. Mleczek

Adeline J. Mleczek 90, a former Athens resident, died Friday, December 9, 2005 at Rib Lake Health Care Center. She was born January 1, 1915 in Wisconsin, daughter of the late John and Martha Milkowski. On July 3, 1933, she married Anton Mleczek at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. He preceded her in death on November 7, 1991. Adeline and her late husband operated a dairy farm in the town of Rietbrock until the time of their retirement. Adeline was a member of the Holy Family Rosary Society. Besides gardening, crocheting, and baking, Adeline enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends. Survivors include two daughters, Ann (Jim) Noskowiak, Antigo and Germaine Mleczek, Ogema; two sons, Frank Mleczek, Athens and Florian (Marjorie) Mleczek, Wausau; six granddaughters; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandson. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Martha Vilter. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2005 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. Rev. Charles Hiebl will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
