Adeline Ann Lepak

Adeline A. Lepak, 80, 1303 Robin Lane, Wausau, died Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born May 28, 1924 in the town of Cassel, daughter of the late Stephan and Josephine (Brzezinski) Filtzkowski. On June 21, 1944 she married Thomas Lepak at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in the town of Cassel. He survives. Adeline was employed at Kraft Foods, Wausau for many years. She was a member of The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, St. Catherine's Council and St. Agnes Circle. Adeline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking. She was a quilt maker and has many grandchildren, grand nieces, grand nephews and missionary children wrapped in the love of her work. Survivors besides her husband Thomas Lepak, Wausau, include four daughters, Karen (Michael)Last, Saline, Mich., Barbara (Gerald Grunwald) Lepak, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Cynthia (James) Pierick, DeForest, Connie (Gerald) Pagel, Merrill; two sons, Charles (Becky) Lepak, Des Moines, Iowa, Gary (Kathy) Lepak, Eau Claire and 17 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Bernice, Rose, Sally, three brothers, Benny, Albin and Stephan. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2004 at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Joseph Gyim-Austin will preside. Entombment will be in the Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and again Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Stewart Avenue funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Adeline's name. Online condolences at www.petersonkraemer.com
