Adeline Ristow -Jensen

Adeline Ristow-Jensen, 86, formerly of Wausau, died Sunday, April 21, 2002, at the Palomar Medical Center, Escondido, California. Adeline was born April 29, 1915, in Edgar, daughter of the late Joseph and Martha (Stencil) Springer. She married Daniel Ristow, June 24, 1935 in Wausau. He preceded her in death December 25, 1968. Adeline later married Iner Jensen, July 1, 1972, in Wausau. He preceded her in death September 18, 1994. Adeline was a homemaker. She also worked for Marathon Electric, retiring in 1977. Playing cards and visiting with family and friends were among her favorite things to do. Survivors include two sons, Danny (Betsy) Ristow, Escondido, California, Robert (Karen) Ristow, Rib Mountain; two daughters, Shirley (Ray) Mullen, Rib Mountain, Judy Ristow, Maui, Hawaii; one step-daughter, Louise (Mike) Lach, Wausau; two step-sons, David (Pat) Jensen, Minneapolis, MN, Paul (Gloria) Jensen, Schofield; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; one brother, Francis (Bernice) Springer, Wausau; one sister, Marie (Harold) Maltbey, Schofield. Besides her husbands and parents, Adeline was preceded in death by, one daughter, Jane Apfelbeck; two grandchildren, five brothers, Lawrence, Frank, George, Joseph and Ben Springer, one sister, Helen Guillaume. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., Friday April 26, 2002 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, and again from 10:30 a.m., Friday, until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service 7 p.m., Thursday, at the Sixth street funeral home.
