Adelia (Pregont) Jackson
71, Wausau, died peacefully at her home on Friday, January 27, 2006.
She was born March 24, 1934 in Wausau, daughter of the late Alexander and Adelia (Kopf) Baumann.
Among her many interests, she enjoyed shopping, had a great love for animals, feeding the birds and squirrels, but most of all, she loved to spoil her granddaughters.
Survivors include, her son, Mark (Barbara) Crapster-Pregont, Merrill; three granddaughters, Meg, Ellen and Leslie Crapster-Pregont, all of Merrill; three siblings, Irma (Alvin) Wilde, Wausau, Charles (Betty) Baumann, Wausau and Carol (Ron) Niziolek, Elk River, Minn.; two sisters-in-law, Doris Baumann, Schofield and Bernie Baumann, Wausau; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ubald and Alexander Baumann; and an infant sister, Alxene Baumann.
Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2006 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Sister John Marie Simien will officiate. Friends may call Friday from 1:30 p.m. until times of services at the Sixth Street Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Marathon County Humane Society or the Lincoln County Humane Society.
