Wayne R. Kyle

Wayne R. Kyle 68, Wausau, died Thursday September 4, 2008 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born January 19, 1940, in Wausau, son of Jeanette (Hench) Kyle, Wausau and the late Clarence Kyle. On June 10, 1960, he married Marcella "Sally" Searing in Wausau. She survives. Wayne retired from Federal Mogul in 2002 and prior had been employed at Murray Foundry for 28 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and attending his grandchildrens sporting activities as well as traveling to Madison for State Wrestling meets. Among his favorite things to do was sitting around the kitchen table with friends drinking coffee. In the spirit of giving, Wayne chose to be an organ donor to help enhance the lives of those less fortunate. Survivors include his wife, Marcella "Sally" Kyle, Wausau, his mother, Jeanette Kyle, Schofield, four children, Chris (Karen) Kyle, Michael (Sandy) Kyle and Donna (Scott) Treu, all of Wausau, Theresa (Dave) O'Brien, Merrill, nine grandchildren, Stacey & Jason; Joshua & Justin; Ashley, Tyler & Taylor; David and Becky. Wayne was also proudly awaiting the birth of his first great grandchild. He is also survived by two sisters, Elaine (Carles) Fristed, Stoughton and Judy Doebler, Wausau and his beloved dog, Max. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence and one sister, Sandy Hanneman. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday September 8, 2008 at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Gerald Pehler OFM Cap. will preside. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established. Special thanks to Paula, Teeney, Stacey and Lisa for the extra care and concern extended to Wayne. It meant so much to him and his family.
