Thomas R. Wendt

Thomas R. Wendt 64, Marathon, died Sunday August 15, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born June 19, 1946 in Rib Falls son of the late Richard and Dorothy (Krueger) Wendt. Thomas was a truck driver for a disposal company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and tinkering. Survivors include five sisters, Florence Denfeld, Marathon, Elaine (Special friend, James Iattoni) Kurtzweil, Merrill, Linda Schreier, Marathon, Gloria (James) Wirkus, Loyal, Sharon (Robert) Lemmer, Edgar, three brothers, Gerald (Sigrid) Wendt, Boyd, Kenneth (Ruth) Wendt, Marathon, Glen (Jeanie) Wendt, Mosinee, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Further survived by special friends Bill and Kelly Poppe & son, Alex, Doug and Emmie Kaysat. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew Steven Lemmer and a niece, Elizabeth Denfeld in infancy. Services will be 7:00 p.m. Weds. August 18, 2010 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon. Friends may call on Weds. from 4 p.m. until the time of services at the Marathon Funeral Home.
