Theresa A. Tulickas, 90, Wausau passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at her home.
She was born September 9, 1926 in the town of Rietbrock, daughter of the late Leo and Balbena (Brzezinski) Brodjeski. On January 14, 1950 she married Joseph Tulickas in Chicago. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1989.
Theresa was a homemaker and cleaned at John Muir Middle School and at the Marathon County Courthouse. She also worked at Connor Forest Products for more than 20 years. Theresa enjoyed cooking, listening to Polkas because, that "Ole Grey Mare ain't what She used to be" (one of Theresa's favorites), ceramics, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Occasionally, she took a trip east to try her luck at the Casino. Theresa enjoyed listening to Rush Limbaugh on a daily basis to get all her knowledge on life which she shared with her family often.
Survivors include her children, Paulette Pupp, Rothschild, Barb Wood, Weston, Tim Tulickas, Merrill, John Tulickas, Wausau and Jenny (Jim) Desotelle, Weston, 14 grandchildren, Tony (Tracy) Pupp, Amy (Scott) Abel, Marcia (Chad) Wanta and Keith Pupp, Kerry Wood, Dennis (Sandy) Wood, Heather, Heidi and Tim Tulickas, Joey (Brianna) Sazama, Jessica (Jackson Schulz) Sazama, Jenna (Greg) Sazama and John and Rachel Tulickas, 6 great grandchildren and her siblings, Ron (Gloria) Brodjeski, Green Bay, Chester (Shirley) Brodjeski, Shirley Fosbender, Wausau, Leona Hart, Wittenberg, Jean (Richard) Kudronwicz, Wauwatosa and Delores Walters, Brighton, MI.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Felix, David and Clarence Brodjeski and Emily Pochinski, her infant sister, Alvina and her son-in-law, Tom Wood and her in-laws, Joanne Brodjeski, Arlene Brodjeski, Herman Pochinski, Ed Hart and Lee Fosbender.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. The Rev. Dan Thelen will preside. Entombment will be in the Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
