Sandra M. Schuster

Sandra "Sandy" M. Schuster 66, Wausau, died Monday, August 13, 2012 at Aspirus Hospice House, Wausau. She was born November 24, 1945 in Wausau, daughter of the late Peter and Martha (Thompson) Peterson. On August 30, 1964, she married Ronald Schuster at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Wausau. He survives. Sandy was employed as a custodian at Wausau Insurance Company, until her retirement. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed swimming, golfing, riding horses and amusement parks, especially riding roller coasters. Sandy loved to travel, especially her trip to Hawaii and her many trips to Florida to visit with family. She also enjoyed many outdoor activities, including, archery, fishing, and primitive camping. Survivors include, her husband of 48 years, Ronald Schuster, Wausau; two sons, Jonathan (Tami) Schuster, Riverview, Fla. and James Schuster, Wausau; four grandchildren, Janessa, Mariah, Austin and Jennifer Schuster; one brother, Eugene "Pete" (Leone) Peterson, Schofield, one sister-in-law; Lila (Eugene) Viegut, Wausau; and one brother-in-law, Gene Schuster, Eagle River. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate.
