Robert C. Gustafson

Robert C. Gustafson, 83, Wausau died Thursday, August 15, 2013 at North Central Health Care Center, Wausau. He was born April 29, 1930 in Wausau, son of the late Charles and Laura (Vanselow) Gustafson. On June 28, 1952 he married Lottie Lillge. They later divorced. Bob was the former owner of Wausau Shoe Service for many years. Some of his favorite pastimes included hunting, fishing, watching the Brewers, playing cards and in his earlier years he truly loved the time he spent with his horses. Bob also was a volunteer driver for the North Central Health Care Center, Wausau. Survivors include his children, Paulette McDonald, Wausau, Kay (John) Lewandoski, Schofield, Scott (Patti) Gustafson, Wausau, Jolene (Robin) Halbesleben, Pleasant Prairie, Richard Gustafson, Wausau and Kristi (Matt) Lorge, Wausau, 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Pat McDonald. A memorial service will be held at Noon, Friday, August 23, 2013 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
