Reuben Klinger
88, Schofield, died Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at Saint Clare's Hospital, Weston.
He was born March 7, 1919 in town of Stettin, son of the late Rudolph and Hulda (Sellin) Klinger. On October 27, 1943 he married Arlene Kraft at St. John Lutheran Church, Rib Falls. She survives.
Reuben worked as a buildings and grounds manager at Mount View Care Center and also as a supervisor for Burger Construction Company. After his retirement he enjoyed traveling with his wife and was known as a handyman who could fix anything. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and attended the early morning bible study.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene, Schofield; son, Don (Lynn) Klinger, Neenah; grandson, Brian (Kaye) Klinger, Appleton, granddaughter, Jennifer (Gaylen) Haas, Appleton; sister-in-law, Verna Klinger, Mosinee; special niece, Carol Easker, Eland and other special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be noon Friday, August 31, 2007 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Gary Schultz will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
