Norma Mae (Vaughn) Brenden

Norma M. Brenden, 77, Weston, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Ascension Saint Clare’s Hospital, Weston.

She was born March 11, 1941 in Birnamwood, daughter of the late Earl and Margaret (Clauss) Vaughn. On October 28, 1964, she married Oscar J. Brenden in Waukegan, IL.  He preceded her in death on May 1, 1995.

Norma worked at Marathon Electric in Wausau for 27 years until her retirement.  She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and NASCAR fan.

Survivors include, four children, Barbara (Kevin) Schubring, Ron (Connie) Brenden, Donald (Deborah) Vaughn, all of Wausau and Kenneth (Shelly) Brenden, Tomahawk; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Roberta Halkoski, Schofield and Audrey Buchkowski, Bevent; one brother, Dale (Suzie) Vaughn, Antigo; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Oscar, she was preceded in death by five siblings.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.  Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
