Mary Jane Neuendank, 85, of Aniwa, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Ascension Saint Clare's Hospital, Weston. Mary Jane was born March 3, 1933 to the late Anton and Ann (Nezda) Gureski in Hatley. She married Otto Neuendank on June 18, 1952 at St. Florian in Hatley. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2008.
Mary Jane and her husband Otto, for many years owned and operated Uncle Otto's Bar in Ringle. They made many friends and enjoyed the memories working there. She was a wonderful homemaker, taking time for family and watching it grow. With loving hands, she prepared countless meals and was always willing to help family and friends alike. Christmas was one of her favorite holidays. Mary Jane loved to decorate her house and yard. In more recent years she loved her "grand-dog" and "Kitty" as part of her growing family.
Survivors include her children, Rodney "Tiny" (Linda) Neuendank, Aniwa, Carol (Patrick) McMahon, Larry "Mort" (Bonnie) Neuendank, both of Weston and Michael (Debbie) Neuendank, town of Hewitt.; seven grandchildren, Brenda, Becky (Mike Maus), Patrick, Dana, Jason, Brad and Amber; fourteen great-grandchildren, Amanda, Justin, Damien, Brianna, Alex, Foster, Conner, Anna, Dylan, Lilee, Bella, Jett, Chloe and Parker; two great-great grandsons, Dawson and Ryder; two brothers, Eugene and Larry; and a sister, Pat. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Joan and a brother, James.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday July 30, 2018 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Weston. Rev. Greg Bohren will preside. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ascension Saint Clare's Hospital for their care and kindness, not only to Mary Jane but to her family during her short stay. Special heartfelt thanks and gratitude to her son Tiny, his wife Linda and their daughter Becky for having and caring for "Mom" at their home, these past three years.
