Lawrence H. Mueller

Lawrence H. Mueller 84, W3981 County Hwy M, Edgar, died Friday, April 2, 2004 Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. He was born May 28, 1919 in the town of Wien, son of the late John and Sarah (Steffen) Mueller. On June 23, 1945, he married Charlotte Tatroe. She preceded him in death on September 1, 2002. Lawrence was a veteran of US Army serving in World War II and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #10187, Edgar. Lawrence was a dairy farmer in the town of Wien and carpenter for Roll-A-Home, Marshfield for many years retiring in 1984. Survivors include four daughters, Karen Sigmund, Fenwood, Prudy (Rod Nowack) Lang and Linda (James) Lang both of Wausau and Debra (Donald) Adamski, Marathon; six sons, Dennis Mueller, Marshfield, Patrick (Donna) Mueller, Mosinee, Michael Mueller, Lyle Mueller, Rodney Mueller and Timothy Mueller all of Edgar; 12 grandchildren. Lisa, Todd, Denise, Brad, Vicki, Scott, Philip, Jon, Richard, Amy, Jason and Tony; 10 great grandchildren, Mikey, Josh, Emily, Tyler, Brock, Layne, MacKenzie, Tyler, Samantha and Jenna; two sisters, Caroline (Raphael) Ellenbecker, Athens and Marie Murphy, Milwaukee; three brothers, Ervin (Darlene) Mueller, Fenwood, Elmer (Hilda) Mueller, Abbotsford and Otto (Donna) Mueller, Weatherford, Texas. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Clyde Mueller; daughter-in-law, Sharon Mueller; son-in-law, Donald Sigmund; four brothers, Leo, Daniel, Harold and Alfred Mueller; sister, Mildred. Funeral services will at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at St. John Lutheran Church, town of Wien. Rev. Jeff Tarras will officiate. Burial will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar and again from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services at the church. There will be memorial military honors conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #10187, Edgar at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Edgar funeral home.
