Lambert J. Narlock

Lambert J. Narlock, 83, formerly of Rothschild, died Thursday, February 19, 2004 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice services at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau. He was born March 19, 1920 in Bevent, son of the late John and Helen (Lewandowski) Narlock. On January 27, 1940 he married Margaret Skarwecki in Wausau. She preceded him in death on March 23, 1999. Lambert retired from the Weyerhaeuser Corporation. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Burns Post No. 388 and the American Legion, Montgomery Plant Post No. 10, Wausau. Lambert was on the Council of St. Mark Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Sacred Heart Council, Rothschild. He enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren and taking trips up north. Survivors include three daughters, Catherine (Peter) Peil, Cornell, Marilyn (Robert) Stogbauer, VanDyne, Mary Lou (Daniel) Krautkramer, Marathon; six sons, Terrance (Mary) Narlock, Ringle, Ronald (Nancy) Narlock, Rothschild, Dennis (Janis) Narlock, Mosinee, Michael (Mary) Narlock, Merrill, Gary (Ann) Narlock, Rothschild, John Narlock, Rib Lake; 32 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren; one sister, Adeline Rybacki, Milwaukee; one special nephew Vernon Marson, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Margaret Narlock, brothers, Sigmund, Hillary, Ernest and Herbert Narlock and one sister Lillian Marson. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2004 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Allan L. Slowiak will preside. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter with full military rites performed by the VFW and American Legion.
