Kathleen P. Bloemers

Kathleen P. Bloemers, 81, passed away January 23, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center, Weston.

She was born January 15, 1941 in Milwaukee to the late Nathan and Rose (Olson) Pereles.  On August 15, 1964 she married Roger Bloemers in Milwaukee.

Kathleen was a homemaker who also worked as a telephone secretary for the Telephone Answering Service for over 30 years.  Kathleen enjoyed knitting, making crafts, shopping, traveling and cheering for the Packers.  She never missed a family sporting event or performance.  She was proud of her Norwegian/German heritage and she loved spending time with her sister and Milwaukee family.  Kathleen was kind hearted and her outgoing personality made it easy for her to meet new friends.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Bloemers; children, Susan (Thomas) McDonald, Sarah (Dean) Nienhuis and Eric (Rocky Williams) Bloemers; grandchildren, Allison (Mark) Hugus, Anna and Caroline McDonald, Samuel, Elle and Jackson Nienhuis; great-grandbaby Hugus on the way; sister, JoAnn Fenske, many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 at New Hope Community Church,229375 County Road J, Wausau.  Rev. Tony Lombardo will officiate.  Burial will be in Forestville Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 Noon until the time of services all at the church.
