Janet D. Schilling

Janet "Jeanne" D. Schilling 66, 307 W. Beech Street, Edgar, died Monday, July 11, 2005 at her home. She was born May 25, 1939 in Wausau, daughter of Peter Kuyoth and the late Helen (nee Krause) Kuyoth. On December 28, 1955, she married Emmett Schilling in the town of Cassel. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1990. She farmed in the Edgar area until 1988, then worked for Edgar IGA until her retirement. Among her many interests, she enjoyed gardening and making crafts. Survivors include, her father, Peter Kuyoth, Edgar; two daughters, Roxanne (Keith) Spindler, Stratford and Mary (Steve) Lindner, Marshfield; two sons, Scott (Kris) Schilling, Athens and Kevin Schilling, Edgar; nine grandchildren, Sonja (Troy) Knetter, Logan, Kobey and Cassie Spindler, Christopher and Patrick Lindner; and Matthew, Kayla and Bryce Schilling; and two sisters, Alice Brien, Colorado and Sharon Hameister, Racine. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett; and her mother, Helen Kuyoth. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2005 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Edgar. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
