Janet C. Hawley

Janet C. Hawley, 84, Wausau died Friday, December 2, 2016 at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau. She was born November 22, 1932 in Wausau, daughter of the late Joseph and Selma (Bohm) Jablonske. On October 13, 1951, she married Roy Hawley in Rice Lake. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1990. Janet was a homemaker and also worked at Marathon Battery and Kreske's, both of Wausau. She enjoyed camping, fishing, singing Karaoke, feeding the birds and volunteering at the Salvation Army of Wausau. Survivors include her children, Steven (Karen) Hawley and David Hawley, both of Wausau, Craig (Misty) Hawley, Oshkosh, Gayle (Ron Lepak) Emmerich and Allan Hawley, both of Wausau, her grandchildren, Kim and Erin Hawley, Kari (Brent) Roeper, Jeff Emmerich, Nicole (Jeff) Hawley, Matthew (Carla) Hawley and Brandon Hawley, her great grandchildren, Emma and Blake Roeper, Kaitlin, Madison, Logan and Landon Hawley-Hughes, two sisters, Rosalie McLean, Florida and Delores Young, Indiana. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Brian and Gary Hawley. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2016 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. The Rev. Joy Nelson Jeffers will officiate.
