James Brzezinski

James Brzezinski 67, Wausau, died Friday February 17, 2012 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. He was born September 16, 1944 in Wausau, son of the late Barney L. and Matilda (Dombeck) Brzezinski. Jim had been employed with the Marathon County EACH Program. He enjoyed collecting different lapel buttons and watching sports on TV, especially football. Through the years, he had participated in Special Olympics. Survivors include seven siblings, Lucille (Edwin) Stankowski, Mosinee, Anthony Brzezinski, Amherst Junction, Mary Ann (Harley) Vander Kooy, Weston, Carl Brzezinski, Weston, Bernard (Dolores) Brzezinski, Mosinee, John (Chesterine) Brzezinski, Amherst, Agnes Gliniecki, Mosinee and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Pauline Brzezinski, Alex (Eleanor) Brzezinski, Sister Veronica Brzezinski, Adam, Theresa and Joseph Brzezinski and a brother-in-law, Edwin Gliniecki. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday February 21, 2012 at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Sixth Street funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice.
