Jaime J. Weyneth, 40, Wausau, died at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, following a courageous two year battle with breast cancer. She was born May 2, 1976 in Wausau, the daughter of Donald and Joy (Krueger) Zimmerman of Wausau.
Jaime was currently employed as Vice President of Loan Operations at Peoples State Bank. Prior to this position she was a Mortgage Loan Officer for the company and was employed there for the past 14 years. Among her favorite things to do, Jaime loved shopping, golfing, fishing, and movie/game nights with family and friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her three children.
Jaime was a beautiful person both inside and out. She had a huge heart and was full of life and laughter. She could make any situation fun and her smile could light up the room. She had an impeccable sense of style and an impressive shoe collection that would make any heel lover envious. Jaime had a wonderful sense of humor and ability to make those around her laugh. Even through the hardest days these last few weeks, she continued with her witty comments and made us laugh on several occasions. This amazed us and was a true testament of Jaime's heart and the type of person she was. Even through the tragedy of her illness, she managed to make those around her smile. This is a devastating loss to all of those blessed to have had Jaime in their life, especially her children who have lost a caring and loving mom.
Survivors include, her three children, Alex and Trevor Weyneth and Lillian Buchkowski; her parents, Don and Joy; one sister, Erin Zimmerman, Wausau; two brothers, Derek (Angel) Zimmerman, Antigo and Daniel (Clarice) Zimmerman, Antigo; her ex-husband and soulmate, Jason Weyneth, Wausau; Lillian's father and close friend, Randy Buchkowski, Wausau; two nephews, Jacob and Lucas Zahrt; one niece, Lucy Zimmerman; her paternal grandmother, Delores Zimmerman, Antigo; her maternal grandparents, Ronald and Arlene Krueger, Wausau; her maternal great-grandmother, Irene Liebers, Wausau; and many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends further survive.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Joseph Zimmerman; and her aunt, Ruth Zimmerman.
Funeral services will be at Noon on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at The Shepherd's House, Rib Mountain. Pastor Tom Michalski will officiate. Burial will be in the Trinity Cemetery in the town of Texas. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
