Harold R. Bhend

Harold R. Bhend 77, 1957 County Road A, Athens, died Thursday, September 15, 2005 at Colonial House, Colby. Harold was born March 12, 1928 in the town of Johnson, son of the late Eugene and Adeline (Gaiser) Bhend. Harold graduated from Athens High School. He farmed his entire life for Bhend Brothers, Inc. in the town of Johnson. Harold was a member of Christ United Church, Athens. Survivors include, two brothers, Raymond (Azalee) Bhend, Hudson and Norman (Marilyn) Bhend, Athens; one brother-in-law, Ervin C. Ewan, Colby; and nieces and nephews. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Arnold E. Bhend; and one sister, Grace Ewan. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2005 at Christ United Church, Athens. Rev. Kenneth A. Dix will officiate. Burial will be in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery, town of Johnson. Friends may call Monday from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens is in charge of arrangements.
