Clarence T. Adamski, 90, town of Cassel, died Saturday April 28, 2018 at Benedictine Living Community, under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.
He was born December 21, 1927, in the town of Cassel, son of the late Anton and Martha (Jakubowski) Adamski. On November 24, 1972, he married Mary (Skrzypchak) Adamski at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cassel. She preceded him in death January 10, 2009.
Clarence was a veteran of the US Army. Prior to his retirement, he was a dairy and ginseng farmer. He held numerous positions on area Boards, including, the town of Cassel, Midway Powder, Pine Valley Cheese and Sacred Heart Parish. Among his favorite pastimes were fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his sons, Dean (Mary Kay) Adamski, Delos (Laura) Adamski, and daughter-in-law, Debra Adamski, all of Marathon, nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Delores Adamski, Chicago. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Donald and brothers, Victor, Tony and Edwin Adamski.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday May 5, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cassel. Rev. Felix Tigoy and Rev. Msgr. Joseph Diermeier will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery where full military honors will be conducted by the Marathon American Legion Post No. 469. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
