Carol J. Dahlke

Carol J. Dahlke 57, Edgar, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at her home surrounded by family, under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice Services. She was born December 25, 1951 in Medford, daughter of Mary Ann (Imbach) Leffel and the late Gilbert Stibbe. On September 1, 1973 she married Jerry Dahlke at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Milan. Carol worked at Land O' Lakes in Spencer for over 30 years and also tended bar at many establishments including Dahlkes Bar, Country Aire, Someplace Else and Mr. D's. She enjoyed crocheting, shooting pool, playing cards and watching tv game shows. Survivors include her husband, Jerry, Edgar; her mother, Mary Ann Leffel, Colby; 3 sons, Russell (Kathleen) Dahlke, Randy Dahlke and Rick Dahlke, all of Edgar; 2 grandchildren, Meygan and Samuel; 8 siblings, Mary Stibbe, Stratford, Shirley (Dennis) Leffel, Milton, Kathy (John) Bohman, Stratford, Dick (Lynn) Stibbe, Gilman, Joe Stibbe, Texas, Alice (Kevin) Buchholz, Colby, Arlene (Mike) Leffel, Wisconsin Rapids and Vern (Vicki) Leffel, Colby; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert and her stepfather, Henry Leffel Jr. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11a.m. Friday, March 27, 2009 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Milan. The Very Rev. Charles Hiebl will preside. Friends may call Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 5363 Vilas St., Milan and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
