Betty J. Wisler

Betty J. Wisler, 87, Wausau, died Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born April 25, 1930 in Stetsonville, daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Lang) Dieringer. On October 17, 1953, she married Milton Wisler in Stetsonville. Betty was the book keeper and secretary for her husband's start-up company, Northway Communications, while being a stay-at-home mom. She volunteered for many activities but none were as passionate as her involvement with Right To Life along with The Pregnancy Hot Line. Survivors include her husband, Milton; children, Alan Wisler, Dale (Lisa) Wisler and Gwen (Paul) Wood; grandchildren, Nicholas, Rachel and Tommy. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Arnold and Joe Dieringer and an infant brother. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services, all at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau.
