Ross Lyon Obituary

Ross A. Lyon, 34, Kronenwetter, died Sunday December 2, 2018 at his home.

He was born May 20, 1984 in Wausau, son of Lance and Lori (France) Lyon, Wausau. On October 10, 2015 he married Sarah Gwidt at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Rib Mountain. She survives.

Ross was a graduate of DC Everest High School and graduated from WYOTECH in Laramie Wyoming with a degree in Automotive and Business Technology. He had been employed as an auto technician at Mountain Bay Automotive and since 2013 had been employed with Dakota Supply Group as inside sales.

Ross was all about the outdoors and action—from hunting to racing to snowmobiling to attending local stock car races—he enjoyed it all.  Above all else his little girl was the light of his life.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah, his daughter, Bristol, his puppy, Zoey, parents, Lance and Lori, brothers, Tyler (Jessi) Lyon and their son, Oakley, and Aaron Lyon, grandmother, Ruth Lyon (Bill Frieders), mother and father-in-law, Dave and Sharon Gwidt, brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Amber Gwidt and their children, Evan and Alivia, grandmother-in-law, Clara Literski, aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and several close friends. 

He was preceded in death by Grandparents, Elmer and Ruby France, Dawn France, Don Lyon, Jim and Sandra Gwidt and Herman Literski, aunts, Laurie Ellis and LouAnn Gille and an uncle, Gerald France.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday December 7, 2018 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Rib Mountain.  Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church and again on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. 

In memory of Ross, a fund has been established for the benefit of his daughter, Bristol.
Memorial donations can be made out to:  

“Benefit of Bristol Lyon”

and mailed to: Intercity State Bank, 962 Grand Avenue, Schofield, WI  54476, or dropped off at any Intercity State Bank location.
