Paula A. Wopp, 38, Kronenwetter, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, February 13, 2019.
She was born February 10, 1981 in Wausau. Paula graduated from Wausau East High School. Her greatest passion was for nature and animals of all kinds, with a special love for horses and unicorns. That love of animals inspired her to volunteer at the Marathon County Humane Society. She “fostered” many of these animals, even bottle feeding them when needed. Throughout the years she owned many pets, but she held her three cats and her dog most dear. Paula enjoyed walking outside and often did so with her mother at many local parks. She was an avid reader and loved music. Paula worked in corporate team sales at Eastbay and had her own custom-designed jewelry business called “All That Glitters”.
Paula loved her family and was loved by everyone who had the opportunity to know her. She had a passion for helping others and could brighten a room with her smile. She touched the lives of everyone she met.
Survivors include her mother, Lisa Nagel and step-father, Mark Nagel, Wausau; brother, Gregory (Suzi) Wopp, Kronenwetter; paternal Grandparents, William and LuAnn Wopp, Wausau; step-grandmother, Gladys Nagel, Wausau, step mother, Pam Wopp, two step brothers and one step sister, many aunts, uncles and cousins; a nephew and her three cats and her dog.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Wopp; maternal grandmother, Lois Edith Altman; and maternal grandfather, Francis Donald Lesperance.
A Time of Remembrance will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday March 1, 2019 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until the time of remembrance at the funeral home.
