Jeffrey "Jeff" A. Edwardson

Jeffrey “Jeff” A. Edwardson, 56, from Weston, formerly from Antigo, died Saturday, March 30, 2019 surrounded by his family at home.

Jeff was born September 27, 1962 in Beloit, Wisconsin.  He graduated in 1981 from Antigo High School.  In 1981, he joined the United States Air Force and served in Civil Engineering as a sheet metal fabricator.  He met the love of his life Jackie Kinslow in 1982, and married her March 17, 1983 in Austin, Texas. 

Jeff separated from the Air Force in 1990 at the rank of Staff Sergeant and honorably served his country.   After his military career, he returned to Wisconsin and went to work at Greenheck as a welder.  He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family.    He also enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii and Greece with his lovely wife.  Above all, Jeff cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Jackie; children, Eric (Sara) Edwardson and Amanda Edwardson; grandchildren, Grace and Alice Edwardson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Edwardson.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until a Trisagion Service at 6:00 p.m., and again on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, Father Ted Trifon will officiate.  Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.

A special thank you to Dr. Hamied Rezazadeh and his hospice nurse Jojo for taking excellent care of Jeff during his illness. 

In lieu of flowers, please send memorials in Jeff’s honor to the Honor Flight or Aspirus Regional Cancer Center.
